We are a mobile hair braiding company, which was founded in February 2016 by Sarah Hiscox and Willa Burton. Sarah came up with the idea of having a young daughter who was desperate to have her hair braided, yet when Sarah went to research braiding bars, nothing was coming up which made her think that starting her own braid bar would be a success and push boundaries within this industry.
Since then, The Braid Bar stands as the leading hair braiding business in the UK, working with brands including Pandora, Sephora and Skinny Dip.
We had a permanent home in Selfridges London, however, the effects of the pandemic have shown that not having an established “braiding bar” is in our best interest.
Therefore we are solely doing private appointments, parties and corporate events. We ensure that all events and parties we attend are made as special as possible, working with clients to personalise their events. Whether this is hair accessories or decorations at our station, we are always ready to outdo expectations.
We are always looking to grow our team, and so if you are interested in working with us we would love to hear from you. All of our vacancies are part time, with lots of flexibility to fit around your schedule as well.
